Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic: From equality to global poverty

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused unforeseen challenges has taken a significant toll on people to public health, food and work. The financial and social disruption resulting from the pandemic is devastating millions of human beings are at risk to falling into intense poverty, at the same time as the range of undernourished human beings, presently estimated at almost 690 million, could increase by up to 132 million by the end of the year.

PERFECTION IS ACHIEVED NOT WHEN THERE IS NOTHING MORE TO ADD, BUT WHEN THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO TAKE AWAY.
